Things to Rent #1: Candles
So you go to your local craft store and get some white pillars and cylinders to put them in....
Ok great! Now you've spent 5.99 for the candles and 10.19 for the cylinder (assuming you have a 40% off coupon for your local discount store and used it on your cylinder!). You now have ONE piece of décor for a total of $17.64 after tax.
OR
You rent this for a whopping $8 ($8.72 after tax) from your local adorable and well stocked florist. That also means you don't have 5 million cylinders to store before your wedding and try to find places for after the wedding.
Boom. Same exact look - but you saved $8.92. Essentially, by renting your candles and cylinders, you can get twice as much for your money. Who doesn't love that? This is just one specific example, but it basically applies to a ton of candle/ container combinations.
Let's pretend you have 25 tables (seating about 200 guests) - that's a savings of $223!
Lets personalize them -
Things to Rent #2: Lanterns
Lanterns are so hot right now. And why shouldn't they be? There's a lantern for every style - glam, rustic, vintage, romantic. This is why you should rent them:
Or rent this lantern from us for $8, including the candle!
Boom! You just saved $16.95! If you have 25 tables, and do a lantern on each one, that's a total savings of $423.75. Nothing to sneeze at!
Things to Rent #3: Arch
Seriously, I know Pinterest is all over this, but don't bother trying to build it unless your dad is a carpenter, you have sawdust in your blood, or it's a really sweet labor of love. We have a whole bunch you can rent - even one made old of old doors! Seriously cool. And much cheaper. The arch shown below is only $50 to rent, and then we can give it a totally custom look for your theme! Believe it or not, the next four pictures are of the same exact arch.
Again, this birch branch arch looks completely different dressed for fall and dressed in cascading white.
So that's my ideas on how to save you money on your wedding by renting. If you love an idea, but don't necessarily want to buy 200 mason jars, or 600 candles, call us and we would be glad to help you out.
