Talk About It Tuesday: Lake Dardanelle Visitor Center

With incredible views of the lake and a charming patio area, Lake Dardanelle Visitor Center is a great option for an event venue. The classroom in the center can accommodate about 100 people, and is perfect for small weddings and receptions. The attached patio, with it's beautiful stone fireplace, provides a picturesque spot for smores at a fall wedding, or a gathering place to cut the chill on a cool spring night. The classroom has a small kitchen attached to make food prep and catering easy. The nearby gazebo is a popular wedding spot because of the view! The gazebo can easily fit 100 chairs for guests, and could probably accommodate 150.

The Visitor Center also has a selection of beautiful spaces on the lawn with huge oak trees that would be wonderful ceremony sites. There is another spot few people notice, near the main stone patio, where a sidewalk brings you to a small patio with a wonderful view. We have done weddings there, and lined the chairs along the pathway. We drape the railings in white cloth and add flower arrangements to complement the natural beauty.
No matter which of the locations at the Lake Dardanelle Visitor Center you chose, you are guaranteed a beautiful view!

You can find more information about the Visitor Center at their website.

  1. How much do they charge to do a wedding/reception there?
